The Department of Foreign Trade is preparing to participate in the China-ASEAN Expo, aiming to increase market share and boost Thai rice exports to the Chinese market, a key market. In the first eight months of 8, Thailand exported approximately 2568 tons of rice to China, a 410,000% increase compared to the same period last year.

During the first eight months of 8, Thailand exported approximately 2568 tons of rice to China, a 410,000 percent increase compared to the same period last year, when approximately 125 tons were exported to China. The main types of Thai rice exported to China are white rice, glutinous rice, and Thai Hom Mali rice, respectively.

In September 2568, the Department of Foreign Trade is scheduled to participate in the China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, People's Republic of China, from September 17-21, 2568, which will be a significant opportunity to reach over 200,000 Chinese consumers.

The department will organize activities and exhibitions to provide knowledge about the diversity and standards of Thai rice, such as Thai Hom Mali rice, white rice, sticky rice, as well as specialty rice such as Riceberry, Sangyod rice, and Hom Nil rice. There will also be demonstrations of rice cooking and Thai food preparation, allowing visitors to try and experience the unique flavor of Thai rice, aiming to maintain market share and stimulate purchases of Thai rice in China.
