To ensure rice price stability, the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) has announced the prices for various types of rice available for home delivery in March.
In a joint effort to maintain fair market prices, the MRF and the Myanmar Rice Merchants Association are continuing this programme and the price list for March was released on 3 March.
Prices per 108-pound, 24-Pyi bag are K165,000 for Shwebo Pawsan, K140,000 for Ayeyawady Pawsan (Kyapyan), K112,000 for Ayeyawady Pawsan (others), K75,000 for 90-day rice, and K56,000 for Aemahta.
