BANGKOK: Thailand’s rice exports will reach a target of 7.5 million metric tons this year as Thai rice is still in demand, a commerce ministry official said on Friday.
But tensions in the Middle East are a concern as Thailand exports a lot of rice to Iraq, Arada Fuangtong, head of the foreign trade department, told a press conference.
