ARLINGTON, VA – USA Rice has partnered with the popular fast-casual restaurant chain, Just Salad, to promote their use of U.S.-grown rice to customers. The promotion will run throughout the month of December and help launch the chain’s new Chicken Tzatziki Market Plate made with U.S.-grown basmati rice.
“We are excited to partner with USA Rice to showcase the care and quality of the rice we source in each of our market plates,” said Julia Bencivengo, Just Salad’s director of brand marketing.
During the month-long campaign, customers will be exposed to in-store and exterior signage featuring the Grown in the USA logo and calling out U.S.-grown rice. Digital promotion of the market plate will roll out through co-branded social media, customer emails, and placement on Just Salad’s website and paid advertising to drive sales and increase awareness of the U.S.-grown difference.
“USA Rice is thrilled to partner with Just Salad and help them promote their sourcing of U.S.-grown rice directly to customers on-site and online,” said Cameron Jacobs, USA Rice vice president of domestic promotion. “This collaboration allows us to work with a growing chain that prides itself on high quality and sustainable ingredients, and provides a valuable opportunity to speak directly with Just Salad’s vast consumer network weaving USA Rice messaging throughout the chain’s storefronts, digital websites, and social channels in promotion of the U.S.-grown rice difference.”
Just Salad was founded in 2006 in New York City and has more than one hundred locations across seven states in the Northeast, Midwest and the South. The chain is well known for its salads, wraps, house-made dressings, and smoothies, along with its long-standing commitment to sustainability.
