Irene Sam, President of Ghana's Parents Association (PA), has raised concern about the government's decision to ban teachers from the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
She believed that the government's actions had a negative impact on the activities of senior high schools around the country.
Speaking to Kamina Sam Biney on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem about expired and infected rice delivered to SHSs on Tuesday, Madam Irene Sam voiced concern over the situation, stating that pupils' health could be jeopardised.
Despite commending the administration for implementing the Free SHS program, she asked for reviews to ensure that the issues associated with the scheme are adequately handled.
"My brother, the Headmasters are afraid to even complain about the difficulties they face for fear of being transferred or receiving 'in-house' punishment." There are many faults with the policy, but the administration is not willing to listen," she continued.
